Canadian wheelchair racer Brent Lakatos won gold in the men’s T53 800 meters at the Paris Paralympics. The 44-year-old from Dorval, Que., also earned a silver in the 400 meters, marking his 13th Paralympic medal. This is Lakatos’s second career gold, adding to his 2016 gold in the 100 meters. He also secured a world championship in the 800 meters last year.
