Canada ended a 67-year winless streak against the U.S. on American soil with a 2-1 victory in a soccer friendly. Goals from Jacob Shaffelburg and Jonathan David secured the win for the 40th-ranked Canadians, who led 1-0 at halftime. Luca de la Torre scored for the 16th-ranked U.S. in the second half.
