Canada's Population Projections to 2073

Statistics Canada projects the population to reach 63 million by 2073. The over-85 population could triple in 50 years, while children aged 0-14 will continue to decline from 34% in 1962 to 15.4% last year and falling. Growth in the over-65 population will slow after 2030, with the 85+ population reaching up to 4.3 million by 2073. The average age will rise to 42.6-50.1 years.
