Canadian Emigration to U.S. Reaches 10-Year High

Tens of thousands of Canadians are emigrating to the U.S., reaching a 10-year high of 126,340 in 2022, a 70% increase since 2012. The rise is driven by factors like lower costs of living, higher wages, and dissatisfaction with Canadian politics under Prime Minister Trudeau. While some seek warmer climates and better economic opportunities, the U.S. remains the most common destination for Canadian emigrants.
