Daily Olive Oil Linked to Lower Dementia Death Risk

A study published in JAMA Network Open suggests that consuming a spoonful of olive oil daily may reduce the risk of dying from dementia. Observing over 90,000 U.S. adults for 28 years, researchers found a 28% lower risk of dementia-related death in those consuming over seven grams of olive oil daily. While not conclusive, the study underscores the potential benefits of olive oil for cognitive health, highlighting its role in vascular health and inflammation reduction.
