Rogers Advances Cellular Network Build in TTC Subway

Rogers has begun installing 5G infrastructure in TTC subway tunnels, starting with Line 2 between Kennedy and Warden stations. This expansion will cover the remaining 36 km of unconnected tunnels. Rogers acquired the network from BAI Canada in April 2023 and plans to complete the project in two years. By December 2025, 80% of tunnels must have service from all major carriers, with full coverage expected by December 2026.
