Vancouver Students Win Big at National Science Fair

Vancouver students shined at the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Ottawa, with three students bringing home top awards. Ann Wang from Prince of Wales Secondary School won best project in the "discovery" category. Angela Cao and Tanvir Mundra also secured top prizes. Wang's project focused on eradicating cystic fibrosis biofilms, while Cao developed an AI-powered translation system, and Mundra worked on sustainable plant growth. Wang described the win as "surreal" and "so nice."
