Two Canadian Cities Among World's Most Livable

The Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) released its annual Global Livability Ranking. Calgary rose to fifth place, tying with Geneva, while Vancouver dropped to seventh. Toronto fell out of the top 10, landing at 12th. Vienna and Copenhagen retained the top spots. The ranking is based on stability, healthcare, culture, environment, education, and infrastructure. Calgary scored highly in stability, healthcare, and education, but lagged in culture and infrastructure.
